印度經驗分享：性別議題與反家暴工作

女協與婦進一直在跟進不同性別議題，如跟進性騷擾問題、倡議性別觀點主流化、具性別角度的財政預算等，自2005年起更全力投入 改革家庭暴力條例的倡議工作。去年平等機會婦女聯席成員曾前往印度，了解當地的反家暴工作，在倡議運動上得到了一些啟發，最近獲悉一位研究婦女工作的印度學者來港，我們誠意邀請她與我們分享當地婦女工作的關注、所面對的性別問題及參與的反家暴工作等。歡迎各位來臨參與。

Dr. Madhana Rekha, Director of Women’s studies centre in a UGC centre in Madras (Chennai), India. She is a Protestant Christian with Church of South India as well as Baptist background. She will visit Hong Kong and would like to share gender issues and domestic violence on Indian perspectives. Recently she has a workshop on self esteem, self discipline and Gender issues to a Christian Teachers conference on Biblical perspectives in India.
